GDPR (UK) Essentials

The General Data Protection Regulations were designed to unify and strengthen data protection legislation, initially in the EU but since Brexit, the Government have confirmed that the UK will abide by those regulations.
This course will teach you about the fundamental requirements needed to comply with these, some would say complex, regulations.

GDPR Essentials Course Contents
1. Personal Data
This section looks at what is included as personal data, what is meant by ‘processing’ this type of data and what rights each of us has over our own personal data.
2. Processing Data
This section looks at each of the Principles of Data Protection in turn, covering privacy notices and fair processing notices and the need for explicit consent.
3. Security
In this section we’re looking at who’s responsible for keeping personal information safe and how this can be done – such as through day-to-day good practice and good computer security.
Test & Certificate
There will be one or two questions in between sections which are designed to reinforce learning and ensure maximum engagement but do not count towards the final test. This test usually has around 20 multiple choice questions and when passed, a printable certificate can be downloaded.

Having your own Learning Management System allows you complete control over your e-learning and for larger orders we can provide you with your own platform, free-of-charge.
If you wish to, you can order the number of credits that you first want (10 credits = one course for one person) and when you check out, tell us that you want a new LMS – which we would suggest you should do if you want more than 15 courses.
To initiate your system we will need some information from you as to how you want your portal set up, so we will be in touch as soon as you order. We will then tailor the LMS, add the credits, send you a very comprehensive User Guide and launch your platform.
Whilst we don’t offer an actual training course on how to use the LMS, it is very simple to use and we are always here to help you should you require it.

Courses are purchased in blocks of 10 credits (10 credits = 1 course for one person). The cost of a course is therefore 10 times the price of a credit. VAT is payable on all purchases.
