Giving feedback, especially when it has to be negative, is something that can motivate, or very much demotivate people.  So giving it in a constructive way in order to improve a person’s performance, is vital. For a manager or supervisor who has to give feedback, thinking of how it will be received is as important as what is said and so this course gives people some ideas on how to achieve giving feedback in a way that the recipient goes away ready to improve.

Giving and Receiving Feedback Course Content

1. In the first section, we look at what feedback can be, what is constructive and not so, self-awareness and the Johari window.
2. This covers the best ways of giving constructive feedback and seeing it from a recipient’s point of view.

Test & Certificate

There will be one or two questions in between sections which are designed to reinforce learning and ensure maximum engagement but do not count towards the final test. This test usually has around 20 multiple choice questions and when passed, a printable certificate can be downloaded.
