Designed for anyone who may face an FoI request, this course sets the framework to show how information should be accessed and disclosed in the public domain. It is a legal requirement that public authorities adhere to the act and correctly deal with requests for information as outlined in the Act and there are many instances where an organisation may require to know more about a subject that should be in the public domain.

1. This course has one section that covers The Freedom of Information Act, who it applies to, and individual legal responsibilities.

Test & Certificate

There will be one or two questions in between sections which are designed to reinforce learning and ensure maximum engagement but do not count towards the final test. This test usually has around 20 multiple choice questions and when passed, a printable certificate can be downloaded.
