For some people, the biggest threat to their breathing comes from the work that they do. Things like cutting or sanding stone or wood, working with solvents or being exposed to dust can give rise to permanent damage to lungs if it is not controlled properly. The use of masks and breathing equipment is a fundamental control that will make safe such work. This course covers legal responsibilities, types of PRE, maintenance and proper use of it.,

Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE) Course Content

1. We look at the types of RPE and the need for face-fit testing

2. This section covers legal responsibilities and how to select the correct type and maintain it.

Test & Certificate

There will be one or two questions in between sections which are designed to reinforce learning and ensure maximum engagement but do not count towards the final test. This test usually has around 20 multiple choice questions and when passed, a printable certificate can be downloaded.
