Lock-out/Tag-out (Text Based Course)
Duration: 15 minutes
Activating equipment or power sources before tasks are complete can – and does – put people who are working on them at serious risk. It is therefore essential that employees know the procedure.
Lock-out/Tag-out (LOTO) is a recognised procedure that ensures that dangerous energy sources or machinery are properly shut off and are not started up unexpectedly while maintenance or service work is being completed.
This short course is designed to help users understand what the procedure is and why it is so important.

The single section covers defines LO/TO, why we need it, and a step-by-step guide to the procedure.
Test & Certificate
There will be one or two questions in between sections which are designed to reinforce learning and ensure maximum engagement but do not count towards the final test. This test usually has around 20 multiple choice questions and when passed, a printable certificate can be downloaded.

Having your own Learning Management System allows you complete control over your e-learning and for larger orders we can provide you with your own platform, free-of-charge.
If you wish to, you can order the number of credits that you first want (10 credits = one course for one person) and when you check out, tell us that you want a new LMS – which we would suggest you should do if you want more than 15 courses.
To initiate your system we will need some information from you as to how you want your portal set up, so we will be in touch as soon as you order. We will then tailor the LMS, add the credits, send you a very comprehensive User Guide and launch your platform.
Whilst we don’t offer an actual training course on how to use the LMS, it is very simple to use and we are always here to help you should you require it.

Courses are purchased in blocks of 10 credits (10 credits = 1 course for one person). The cost of a course is therefore 10 times the price of a credit. VAT is payable on all purchases.
