CPR & AED Refresher

This course has been designed for anyone who has had First Aid training, or just wants to be aware of what to do if someone has stopped breathing.

In this course we explain what Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is and we offer step-by-step demonstrations of how to perform it.  These days, when using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) the machine takes you through what to do, step-by-step but if you have never had to use one, this course will take you through what to expect.

CPR & AED Refresher Course Content

1. In this first section, we look at the six important points to keep in mind before you attempt CPR. Although these may sound like a lot to do, but in reality they’ll take you a matter of seconds.
2. In the second section of this course, we look at how to perform CPR.
3. In the final section of this course, we look at what an automated external defibrillator (AED) is and how to use it.

Test & Certificate

There will be one or two questions in between sections which are designed to reinforce learning and ensure maximum engagement but do not count towards the final test. This test usually has around 20 multiple choice questions and when passed, a printable certificate can be downloaded.
