'Safe & Sure' annual contracts start at £30 a month - massively more economic than the national providers and we will be providing a personal service which they can't. Kate joins Helmsman
January 2013 - In order to facilitate a rapid growth plan and the proposed move into other services, we have taken on a new General Manager. Kate Nudds had been running her Recruitment & Selection company for many years and was considering where she would take it when a chance meeting led to her joining us. Kate will be bringing her recruitment expertise to Helmsman who will be offering this service but she will also be fronting planned moves into H.R. support and E-learning.

Helmsman Services have gone through the rigorous re-accreditation assessment for ISO with their awarding body and have come out with flying colours. Only 3 items were picked up and they were very minor - changing the logo to an up-to-date version and mending a link on the website and changing the word Internal to external on the Management Meeting Agenda. Not too taxing for a company that prides itself on accuracy and giving the ultimate customer service to clients!
National Care Provider Hands it Over to Helmsman
The Regard Partnership who have over 135 care services, employing 1,350 people across the country have outsourced their training department to Helmsman. The contract sets clear goals including both the administration and management of its training, upkeep of the NMDS database, reduction in training costs and maximising grant claims.
Tunbridge Wells Council signs up with Helmsman
In September, Tunbridge Wells Borough Council signed a contract for Helmsman Services to manage their Learning & Development function. The contract is, as with all Helmsman contracts, a Vendor Neutral one which will ensure that the Council will be able to take advantage of Helmsman's buying power with national and local providers, as well as having a very experienced resource for everything to do with their training. It also means that the Council can save on employing a replacement person to do the job in-house.
