Event organising

As we were organising training events for Clients, we noticed a growing demand for Helmsman to stage other events. We were more and more often asked to arrange Board Away-Days, Director's Conferences, Staff Days and the like and so an events management side of the business was born.

We believe that we are unique in charging an agreed fee and asking the client to pay for everything else direct. This means that we do not add any sums by way of 'commissions'.

We help plan the ultimate event for your budget and are also aware that speakers can often represent a large proportion of that sum. We therefore have ways and means of finding speakers for whom you might pay a vast amount more than we can negotiate on your behalf. Recently a BBC news personality gave a talk for which we negotiated a fee of £1,750. When we checked up with a speakers agency, we were quoted £5,000!
